Things are moving ahead rapidly here at Trigora, so we thought we would share a few updates with you:
1. Development On Track: Development of the Trigora website remains on target for our beta launch in September 2008. In line with our philosophy on specialisation, we have chosen to outsource development to a well-regarded and experienced firm rather than recruit and manage our own software team. This keeps us free to focus on what we do best. The progress so far on the website is very encouraging, and we look forward to sharing some “sneak peeks” in due course…
2. Industry Focus: We have decided to focus on 2 specific industries for our beta launch: (i) Agriculture (ii) Professional Services. Both are industries with a large number of small to medium businesses, where technology is playing an increasingly important role in boosting productivity, and for which we have solid experience or access to expert information.
3. Market Response: Initial feedback from software vendors has been overwhelmingly positive. They see real value in using our online comparison service to generate additional qualified leads and sales, and like the “pay-for-performance” approach that means no upfront costs or risk for them. Discussions are continuing and we anticipate securing an impressive set of vendors with industry-specific products for our beta launch.
